DeviantART Transmitted Diseases! I have been infected. TnT

My main computer, Shabby, has been infected with a terrible worm/trojan WHATEVER-- and is sadly, unable to function properly. I caught it from DeviantART. I had problems with them before when trying to download an image to get a better view, and it would go blank and try redirecting me to some other page, and my computer would kick up working on something and a program would start named acroread32 or acrord32, but soon as I exited out of DeviantART it would stop. I am not the only I know this has happened to.

Then, one day, this happened, but every time I visited the internet pop-ups would come up. Not just website pop-ups, but advertisements that were installed on my computer! So apparently, this malware had installed it SHIT on my precious baby~! Then I kind aignored it, did a few scans with my antivirus and antispyware and it found a couple things, however, even then it didn't stop. I figured I could live with it-- UNTIL-- one day I turned on the computer and something called "Windows Police Pro", a fake antivirus program, came up and wouldn't STOP popping up. It made it impossible for my computer to do ANY task at all. Then more, and more of these types of things started installing and my computer just became helpless. The malware wormed it's way into the administrative files so it blocks any administrative actions, such a system restore, or uninstalling anything, or downloading things that may help.

All in all, my baby is on it's death bed. I can't imagine DeviantART hasn't gotten complaints from othe rpeople who have been infected, cause this happened to two people I know and KNOWS its from this site. Yet they haven't warned anyone or done anything about the problem, which really, really irks me! I have a lot of important stuff on my computer it seems like I may very well lose! It's very upsetting. So I have been paranoid coming back here thats why I haven't been around, submitted art or journals.. Cause I don't want the laptop to catch any nasty virus. It's been very disheartening, cause I can't do art without mt tablet and OpenCanvas. I sketch, but it seems almost pointless, and because of that even my drawing is suffering and everything I draw is pathetic andandand.. Shit.

On a lighter note, I am dressing my son as KungFu Panda, and I am dressing as Tsunade for Halloween this coming Saturday and we will trick-or-treat at the mall together. Which is great cause I get all the treats. 8D And for MegaCon 2010 I am going to cosplay Narcissa Malfoy, which I have yet to get the outfit for but I have it chosen. Unfortunately it means I may not be cosplaying my character Mongol Empire/ Mama Mongolia; Narcissa's cosplay is really freaking expensive. I mean,t he dress itself is $184, the cloak will be $200, and then there is the wand, which will be $23, plus shoes, at least $25.. Then I have to get the ticket for MegaCon which is frickin expensive itself. But it'll all be worth it. My bestest friends will be cosplaying with me!

We can harass other Harry Potter cosplayers with sticks and totally get away with by claiming we were in character. That tickles me.
